About the Role
As a Business Systems Program Owner – AI Sales Acceleration (Sales), you will be responsible for executing AI and automation initiatives that accelerate our Sales organization. You will identify and act on obstacles to project execution, so that our sales teams can be equipped with the AI tools that fit their processes. Your focus will be on gathering requirements, evaluating solution options, and leading projects from inception through deployment and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
Execute AI and automation projects that drive measurable impact for Sales teams.
Influence and contribute to the AI roadmap by identifying and surfacing operational pain points and solution opportunities.
Build and evaluate solution options for automation and AI use cases, partnering with internal technology teams and downstream delivery teams.
Own requirements gathering, write clear product specs, define use cases and metrics, and partner with business analysts to implement solutions.
Lead daily execution: run scrums, unblock teams, and ensure project milestones are met.
Monitor project performance, track key metrics, and iterate on features to improve usability, functionality, and user satisfaction.
Act as a subject matter expert on automation technologies and AI applications related to sales processes, tools, and applications.
Build and maintain strong relationships with collaborators and executive management to ensure alignment and drive successful outcomes.
Study and learn the end-to-end processes employed by our SMB and Enterprise Sales teams.
Manage defects and enhancements, including identification, resolution, and communication with business partners.
Participate in user acceptance, smoke testing, and implementation activities.
Create and deliver training and enablement content for projects you manage.
Qualifications
5+ years’ experience in Sales Operations, Sales Technology, or Customer Support/Success, ideally in product manager, analyst or program owner roles within high-growth enterprise software companies.
Strong background in AI and automation technologies LLMs, Agentic AI, and AI/ML knowledge, prompt engineering (preference for experience in technologies such as UiPath, Workato, Camunda), with a passion for GenAI and emerging tech.
Proven ability to gather requirements, evaluate and implement AI/automation solutions, and drive projects from concept to delivery.
Skilled at translating business needs into technical solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and communicating with diverse stakeholders.
Analytical, data-driven, and process-improvement focused—comfortable using metrics to guide decisions and measure impact.
Excellent influencing, communication, and relationship-building skills; able to work independently and thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
Adaptable, self-motivated, and eager to learn new tools, processes, and technologies.
Team player with a “get $#!t done” mentality.
Compensation
At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable, and competitive compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:
Zone A: $153,000 - $199,750
Zone B: $137,700 - $179,775
Zone C: $127,800 - $166,850
This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.
