<p>Date Posted:</p>2024-02-23<p>Country:</p>Poland<p>Location:</p>Bierutowska 65-67, Wrocław 51-317, Poland<p>Position Role Type:</p>Unspecified<p>Product Health Mechanical Project Engineer </p><p></p><p>Primary Responsibilities:</p><p>Strategically, this role is accountable for:</p><ul><li>Establishing and enforcing Product Line focused design/manufacturing/procurement strategies.</li><li>Support in Identifying/developing/implementing cost reduction opportunities.</li><li>Define core manufacturing technologies required in support of the Product Line strategy.</li><li>Stay current with relevant manufacturing technology advances in the industry.</li><li>Track MRL progression in the implementation of new manufacturing methodologies.</li></ul><p>Tactically, this role will be accountable for:</p><ul><li>Leading and ensuring Design for Manufacturability &amp; Assembly during the proposal and product definition phase of design,</li><li>Product Cost Reduction and Health Improvement Leadership</li><li>Global OPS and Supply Chain process change review and approval.</li></ul><p>Basic Qualifications:</p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of prior relevant experience OR</li><li>Master Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years’ experience</li></ul><p>Preferred Qualifications:</p><ul><li>Experience with/ knowledge of product cost and business case modeling,</li><li>Experience in project management min. 3 years,</li><li>Experience in design to cost leadership,</li><li>Experience with team management and leadership in the successful completion of major projects,</li><li>Big data analysis experience</li><li>Understanding in design of mechanical componentry</li><li>Experience in Producibility Engineering or detailed exposure to Design for Manufacturability &amp; Assembly processes and activity,</li><li>Experience and/or understanding of procurement/planning processes,</li><li>Basic understanding of manufacturing and assembly processes</li><li>Six Sigma knowledge/experience welcomed,</li></ul><p></p><p></p><p>RTX is An Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
