Executive Communications System Technician

Delta Solutions & Strategies is seeking a full time Executive Communications System Technician supporting 15th Air Force Intelligence & Cyber Operations Directorate at Shaw Air Force Base (AFB), SC. 

What you'll be doing:

• Implement & maintain technical and physical safeguards & software access controls.
• Perform regularly scheduled systems management and maintenance procedures on all unit assigned. systems
• Provide technical advice and training to 15 AF staff.
• Provide maintenance and operation of phone systems
• Provide on-site operation & database maintenance of multi-user computer systems
• Provide Information Technology (IT) support including installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and customer assistance
• Ensure all systems are operational utilizing approved diagnostic software, hardware connectivity, and troubleshooting techniques
• Provide solutions to customer requests for assistance by resolving hardware and software problems
• Interact & resolve users’ concerns to ensure proper operation of computer systems
• Install and maintain devices supporting a broad range of information systems employing multiple network and local operating systems
• Serve as technical specialist on all automated systems
• Provide solutions to customer requests for assistance by resolving hardware and software problems
• Install and maintain hardware supporting a broad range of information systems employing multiple network and local operating systems and client server software
• Install and configure workstation, network operating systems, and applications software on a wide variety range of configurable information systems devices
• Write, research, and update documentation & information on standard operations procedures for IT systems installation, configurations, maintenance, & processes related to executive communications and HQ 15 AF support.
• Support General Officer & NAF senior leader unclassified & classified IT and other communications requirements.

What you'll need:

• Security Clearance Required: Secret
• 4 years of information technology help desk experience.
• Security + Certification Course.
• 5 years of Joint Communications/Cyber Officer/technician experience within a wing, NAF, AF, or Joint Staff. (neg)
• Associates’ Degree from an accredited college or university.
