You will be responsible for developing applications that inspire users to be more active on Kleinanzeigen or shape how our Buyers and Sellers trade their consumer goods. You will be part of an empowered motivated cross-functional team including colleagues from Product Management, Customer Service, Marketing, Analytics, Design and Engineering. This is your opportunity to improve the experience of millions of users and have an impact by building a platform that enables sustainable trade for everyone!</p><p><strong>Your role:</strong></p><ul><li>Work together with Product and Design to develop the future of Kleinanzeigen</li><li>Keep the platform clean, stable and scalable</li><li>Handle up to 60k requests per second while the platform is still growing</li><li>Drive your own ideas for code, process and product improvements</li><li>Ensure quality and maintainability by improving build and test systems</li><li>Bring in your own perspective on how our users’ problems can be solved</li></ul><p> </p><ul></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><p> </p><ul><li>2+ years of programming experience in Java or Kotlin and the Spring Framework</li><li>Additionally interest or some first experience in go is a plus</li><li>Experience with RDBMS and NoSQL (e.g. MySQL, Cassandra, Elasticsearch)</li><li>Ideally some experience with distributed systems and event streaming (e.g. Kafka)</li><li>Ideally operating microservices on public clouds (e.g. k8s and AWS)</li><li>Getting up to speed with new systems and concepts easily</li><li>Embracing collaboration and the DevOps mindset: you build it, you run it!</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><p> </p><ul><li>Opportunity to shape the way we work.
