Do you thrive in complex environments and know how to turn strategy into execution?</p><p>We’re looking for a <b>Project Manager</b> to join our <b>Payments &amp; Trust</b> product within <b>Global Digital &amp; Assisted Channels Tribe</b>.</p><p></p><p><b>About Payments &amp; Trus</b><b>t</b></p><p>Payments &amp; Trust is a high-impact product area serving millions of mobile banking customers across multiple ING countries. It consists of three domains:</p><ul><li>Enrolment &amp; Access, including fraud prevention</li><li>Payments</li><li>Digital Wallets</li></ul><p></p><p>The product is part of the global digital tribe, which is responsible for various aspects of the ING mobile banking app. Our squads develop and maintain mobile front- and backend applications, continuously aiming to exceed expectations of our app users across the countries we service.  </p><p>Together, we manage and deliver globally scalable features such as mobile app enrolment, Check het Gesprek, Apple &amp; Google Pay, the upcoming WERO initiative, card management, Money Transfer, and more. Our product includes <b>7 teams</b> responsible for native mobile front-end development and, in some cases, <span>backend(-for-frontend)</span> APIs.</p><p></p><p><b>What will you do</b></p><p>As <b>Project Manager</b>, you will be responsible for leading strategic, cross-team and cross-tribe initiatives, all related to Payments &amp; Trust. You will drive projects from discovery to implementation, ensuring alignment, clarity, and delivery.</p><p>Key responsibilities include:</p><ul><li>Explore and assess potential opportunities before formal project initiation, including gathering consumer input and evaluating strategic relevance</li><li>Lead the discovery phase of initiatives to define problem spaces, validate needs, and shape direction</li><li>Set up and coordinate large-scale strategic projects (e.g. App2App, Money Transfer Wizard migration, Dream Payments, Payment Activity Center)</li><li>Define scope, governance, and roadmap (including milestones)</li><li>Identify and manage dependencies across teams and tribes</li><li>Engage and align stakeholders across business and IT</li><li>Escalate impediments and support decision-making</li><li>Ensure timely delivery and measurable outcomes</li><li>Lead smaller product-related initiatives and events (e.g. Product Day offsites, productization plans, contributions to tribe initiatives such as start screen and subscription manager, OHI improvements)</li></ul><p></p><p>You will be embedded in the <b>Payments &amp; Trust</b> product and work closely with the <b>Product Lead</b> to align on (strategic) priorities, project progress, and which initiatives to take on. You’ll collaborate intensively with the <b>Customer Journey Experts</b> and teams within the product that are directly linked to these initiatives.</p><p>In addition, you’ll work with a wide range of stakeholders across ING, both within and outside the tribe, business and IT. This includes other tribes such as <b>Payments</b>, <b>Fraud</b>, <b>R&amp;BT</b>, and <b>Risk</b>, in all <b>OneApp countries</b> (Netherlands, Belgium, Romania, Germany, Italy, Australia, etc.).</p><p></p><p><b>What will you bring</b></p><ul><li>5+ years of experience in <b>project management</b> and/or <b>change management</b></li><li>Proven track record in delivering <b>customer-facing (digital) products</b>, ideally in mobile app environments</li><li>Strong ability to connect <b>vision, people, and execution </b>with enthusiasm</li><li>Experience working in <b>complex, international environments</b></li><li>Solid understanding of <b>business-to-IT delivery</b>; experienced to work closely with developers and technical teams</li><li>Knowledge of <b>digital channels</b>, <b>payments</b>, and/or <b>fraud prevention</b> is a strong plus</li><li>Proactive, self-driven, and decisive</li><li>Flexible and adaptable to shifting priorities and product needs</li><li>Fluent in <b>English</b> (written and verbal)</li></ul><p></p><p><b><span>Rewards and benefits</span></b></p><p><span>We want to make sure that it’s possible for you to strike the right balance between your career and your private life.
