Attorney

MDK, an innovative law firm, is seeking a Bankruptcy Attorney to join our firm. This is a dynamic opportunity for a driven legal professional to make a meaningful impact, while working on cases in a collaborative, growth-focused environment.

Responsibilities of an Attorney at MDK:

• Manage and litigate a volume caseload of default servicing matters involving bankruptcy actions.
• Draft and argue motions necessary to the successful completion of both routine, and contested, bankruptcy matters.
• Appear as necessary in bankruptcy court across Ohio.
• Assist and provide leadership to a team of paralegals and legal assistants.
• Engage with clients and learn to provide outstanding client experience.
• Embody and demonstrate our company's values in our everyday work: respect, creativity, engagement, collaboration, and advancement while working in an inclusive environment.

Qualified Candidates Are:

• Actively licensed in Northern and Southern Districts of Ohio.
• Actively licensed in Kentucky or Pennsylvania strongly preferred.
• Three or more years’ experience in bankruptcy law.
• Experience with foreclosure, land and auto title matters is a plus.
• Excellent communicators. Verbal and written.
• Able to travel if needed throughout Ohio.
• Flexible & adaptable. MDK team members are open to ideas and creativity.
• Eager to learn new skills to advance their knowledge, growth, and welcome challenges.

Schedule & Benefits:
