Repair & Maintenance Tech

We are seeking an experienced Mechanic to support our disaster restoration operations. This role is responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing company vehicles and truck-mounted carpet cleaning systems to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient field operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain company vehicles (vans, trucks, and light-duty fleet)

• Service and repair truck-mounted carpet cleaning and restoration equipment

• Perform routine preventative maintenance and inspections

• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues

• Maintain maintenance records and ensure equipment meets safety standards

• Coordinate repairs to minimize vehicle downtime

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a mechanic working on vehicles and equipment

• Hands-on experience with truck mounts or similar powered cleaning/restoration systems required

• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple repairs

• Valid driver’s license (commercial license a plus)

Preferred Experience:

• Restoration, carpet cleaning, or pressure washing equipment

• Small engines, PTO-driven systems, or auxiliary motors

• Fleet maintenance experience
