Are you an experienced Registered Nurse looking for a dynamic role in a fast-paced clinical setting?

Logan Health is seeking a skilled RN to join our team in Polson. This position will primarily work at our Primary Care - multispecialty Clinic, while also floating weekly to assist the Polson Specialty Care Clinic and Polson Ambulatory Surgery Center. What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Rooming patients and conducting clinical assessments

  • Performing phlebotomy and lab procedures

  • Administering infusions and assisting with stress echos (training provided)

  • Conducting nurse visits, including injections, blood pressure checks, and vaccinations

  • Managing pre-authorizations, phone triage, and medication refills

  • Assisting walk-in patients as needed

  • Supporting a high-volume patient environment while prioritizing and multitasking effectively

  • Weekly assistance working at our Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) with procedures.

  • Float to provide care at the Polson Specialty Care Clinic

  • Strong nursing background with experience in acute care, surgery/OR, or outpatient surgery is preferred.

Qualifications:

  • Current Montana RN license or a multi-state compact license with authorization to practice nursing within the state of Montana; required. BSN preferred. 

  • Healthcare Provider (HCP) CPR, and/or BLS certification required and/or as dictated by each practice/service line.

  • Knowledge of equipment, supplies, and instruments used in a medical office, simple                                         routine clinical laboratory methods, universal blood and body fluid precautions.

  • Must have knowledge of OSHA rules and regulations, established protocol for storing poisons, narcotics, acids, caustics, and flammable items; restriction imposed by various manage care carriers, various forms inherent to profession.

  • Understanding of the confidentiality laws that govern the provider-patient relationship, including but not limited to HIPAA guidelines.

  • Additional Certification(s) requirements may vary by work location.

  • Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented, a self-starter, possess critical thinking skills and be able to set priorities and function as part of a team as well as independently.

  • Commitment to working in a team environment and maintaining confidentiality as needed.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with various audiences.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.

  • Possess and maintain computer skills to include working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn other software as needed.
