About the role

Are you energized by driving process improvement and leveraging your technical expertise in a world class manufacturing environment?  If so, this Process Engineering Manager role could be an exciting opportunity to explore.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead review and response to GSK’s Global Engineering Standards and Policies and EHS Standards.
  • Lead Safety Projects.
  • Manage Engineering Alerts.

Specific Accountabilities:

  • Maintain pilot plant compliance with GSK's Global Engineering Standards and Policies and EHS Standards by working with SMEs to assess and close gaps.
  • Lead Safety Projects in the pilot plants including design, cost, implementation, and resource management.
  • Ensure Engineering Alerts are addressed and implemented to meet established timelines.
  • Perform walkthroughs of pilot plants to ensure the facilities are 'ready now' at all times for safety audits.
  • Work with Engineers / EHS from other GSK sites and departments to learn and establish best practices to address gaps and Engineering Alerts.

Why you?

Basic Qualifications:

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

  • Minimum 5 years working in a pharmaceutical plant, or equivalent.
  • BS is engineering or science related field.
  • Experience with pharmaceutical process and the safety and compliance requirements for equipment and systems used in it.

Preferred Qualifications:

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload.
