Job Description:

Seeking Engineer/HVAC!

Full-time, 7:00am-3:30pm, Monday-Friday, on call weekly rotation

Baptist Health Floyd

Southern Indiana/Louisville, Kentucky area

To perform a variety of both general and technical maintenance tasks including performing preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance on a variety of hospital medical equipment according to established procedures.  Inspects, calibrates, adjusts, lubricates and repairs or replaces components and documents services rendered in a timely manner and according to professional standards.  This equipment and systems shall include, but are not limited to, Air Handlers, exhaust fans, condensers, and Mini Splits.

Qualifications: 

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least five (5) years’ experience in general maintenance or formal trade school equivalent
• Valid driver's license with good driving record
• Licensed HVAC Technician
• EPA Certified to handle Freon
• Healthcare facility maintenance experience preferred
