As we continue to grow throughout North America, we continue to develop and improve the presence and awareness of our brand.

We are seeking an experienced, commercial, personable Regional Sales Manager to manage, grow, and develop Jellycat throughout the independent retailers within the above geographical region. Will have strong commercial skills and an understanding of the DNA of our brand, promoting our values, and ensuring all are aligned. Looking for someone who is genuinely passionate about retail and enjoys being in front of customers, as Jellycat is consumer-centric in everything we do.

We have an established account list of luxury gift retailers, and you will be accountable for visiting them regularly to help them grow their sales of Jellycat, maximize POS opportunities, and ensure that Jellycat always looks great in their store. You will be familiar with the region you are representing and be responsible for ensuring that we are in the right luxury accounts in upscale areas, towns, cities, and shopping malls. Along with nurturing existing account relationships, you will also be proactive in identifying new areas of opportunity that we have not yet maximized (always Luxury).

You will be responsible for approx. 80 - 100 accounts, in the field a minimum of 3 days a week visiting customers. With 1 to 2 days a week working at home for administrative duties. You will be required to travel to Minneapolis on an as-needed basis to attend sales team meetings and product training.

You will work closely with your Sales Line Leader and VP of Sales to deliver go-to-market plans and be responsible for aligning on annual budget plans/product forecasts and how you will achieve those, understanding that we would never compromise brand positioning in favor of sales revenue, this is critical in the underpinning of everything we do. You will be an all-encompassing Jellycat ambassador and asked to make recommendations on how to improve brand appearance in-store.

You'll be:

Managing a Territory

  • Passionately representing Jellycat and promoting brand awareness within the existing territory account base.

  • Working with your Team Leader to understand account tiers and determine travel schedules to ensure retailers receive in-person visits as needed.

  • Meeting sales growth and budget targets.

  • Evaluating which existing retailers meet—or do not meet—Jellycat merchandising and brand standards.

  • Navigating challenging conversations when closing accounts that do not meet Jellycat standards.

  • Identifying and securing new luxury retail accounts.

Engaging Customers

  • Developing trusting, professional relationships with retailers.

  • Engaging with store personnel to ensure they understand and promote the Jellycat brand.

  • Launching, presenting, and selling new collections as they are introduced.

  • Ensuring visual merchandising and product presentation align with Marketing direction.

  • Encouraging retailers to host marketing-led events and participating as needed.

  • Providing in-store customer training on Jellycat products and brand awareness.

  • Monitoring adherence to brand guidelines across all promotional and operational activities.

Reporting and Providing Feedback

  • Providing quarterly business updates to management through PowerPoint presentations.

  • Sharing feedback on new products, visual merchandising, and customer interactions.

  • Documenting account enhancements through photography.

  • Visiting National and Key Accounts within your territory, providing feedback to the Key Account Manager, and supporting visual merchandising as needed.

  • Placing orders through MarketTime or SAP.

  • Preparing retailer-specific reports in SAP for both internal and external stakeholders.

You'll have:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Territory Sales Manager, ideally within a luxury brand.

  • Residence within the territory you'll be representing.
