Job description:

This position requires an experienced electrical engineer who will contribute to electrical design, safety and EMC to achieve regulatory compliance of medical devices to  improve/ sustain medical equipment by ensuring global safety standards and collaborating with other engineers to solve emerging issues.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

•Shall be able to plan, prepare and execute test plans, protocols and test report for design verification testing required for design changes for medical devices.
•Working with third party labs to ensure EMI/ EMC and product safety as per international standards e.g. IEC 60601-1, 1-2 etc.
•Report analysis (of third party Labs), experimental issue resolution & report writing.
•Working in Lab for electro-mechanical products.
•Experience in managing the BOM for existing and new products.   
•Experience in creating test set-up & measurements. 

Required Skills:

•Overall (6 -9) years of working experience in electrical design, safety & EMC as per regulatory standards with at least 3+ years of working experience in medical devices.
•Good understanding of product development life cycle. Experience of designing/ testing medical devices for various standards such as 60601-1, 1-2 etc. 
•Expertise in creating and analyzing HW circuit designs consisting of Analog, Digital, Mixed Signal, High speed, High current applications.
•Strong analytical skills for assessing the design changes, change impact on device functionality.
•Knowledge of Analog and digital electronic design like DC-DC power supply, sensors interfaces, microcontrollers etc.
•Expertise in communication protocols like CAN, RS485, RS232, Ethernet, USB, I2C, SPI, UART
•Hands on experience in design simulation tools like Altium Designer, Mentor Graphics Xpedition etc.
•Good knowledge about lab equipment like DSO, multimeter, logic analyzer etc.
•BE / B Tech (Electrical/ Electronics / ECE / EEE) full time from reputed institution. M Tech / MS in the relevant field / area will be nice to have.
