About the role

The Associate Brand Manager (ABM), Core Performance & GTM Activation, supports Dove's Core Body Wash business. This role focuses on translating portfolio strategy into marketplace success through commercialization, innovation execution, retailer activation, and cross-functional leadership for Core Scrubs, Liquid Hand Wash, and Baby, as well as owning the Dove Skin Cleansing budget, which is the largest in Unilever.

Key Responsibilities


1. Commercialization & Go-to-Market Leadership

  • Lead end-to-end commercialization of innovation launches, portfolio relaunches, seasonal programs, and key growth initiatives across Scrubs (in alignment with Body Wash), Liquid Hand Wash, and Baby.
  • Translate portfolio strategies into integrated, actionable launch plans.
  • Develop and manage go-to-market plans across Marketing, Shopper Marketing, Customer Development, Supply Chain, Finance, and R&D.
  • Ensure flawless launch readiness and execution across all consumer and customer touchpoints.


2. Retail Activation & Customer Engagement

  • Lead development of customer-facing marketing materials, sell-in stories, launch toolkits, and activation assets.
  • Partner with Shopper Marketing and Customer Development teams to bring brand initiatives to life across key retail customers and channels.
  • Support development and execution of retailer-specific activation programs, merchandising initiatives, and promotional events.
  • Identify opportunities to improve in-store and omnichannel execution to maximize awareness, trial, and conversion.


3. Core Business Leadership

  • Serve as a business leader for Dove BW, helping drive the growth agenda for Dove's largest Skin Cleansing business.
  • Act as a primary marketing lead for commercialization, activation, and executional excellence across the portfolio.
  • Partner on annual planning, innovation pipelines, and key strategic initiatives, ensuring strong cross-functional alignment and execution.
  • Bring a marketplace perspective to business discussions, identifying opportunities to strengthen launch plans and customer impact.


4. Cross-Functional Project Leadership

  • Lead highly cross-functional initiatives from concept through execution, coordinating work across Marketing, R&D, Supply Chain, Finance, Shopper Marketing, Customer Development, Media, and agency partners.
  • Manage timelines, milestones, risk mitigation plans, and stakeholder communication across multiple workstreams.
  • Drive alignment and decision-making across diverse teams to ensure initiatives are delivered on time and in full.
  • Champion a culture of accountability, collaboration, and executional excellence.


5. Portfolio Operations & Financial Stewardship

  • Manage budgets, purchase orders, agency invoicing, and other portfolio operations processes.
  • Support forecasting, financial tracking, and investment management across the business.
  • Ensure efficient management of marketing investments and resources.
  • Maintain strong operational rigor and project governance across all initiatives.


Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
  • 3–5+ years of experience in Brand Management (not agency-side), Sales, Category Management, Customer Development. CPG experience preferred.
  • Comfortable working in Unify and Numerator systems, pulling raw data and synthesizing analysis into action-driven narrative.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead through influence and collaborate across functions.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Comfortable managing ambiguity and driving execution in a fast-paced environment.
