General Summary

 

Perform detailed and complex job functions (ie. normal course of business activities).  Investigate and recommend ways to improve efficiencies of daily job activities. 

 

Principle Duties & Responsibilities

• Coordinate on-time issuance of E.C.I.’s
• Perform root cause analysis to identify, analyze, and recommend corrective actions
• Organize special activity meetings to address abnormal problems
• Optimize inventory levels of raw materials and components for mass production
• Coordinate the implementation of QS9000 in assigned area
• Perform other duties as assigned in order to ensure achievement of section, department, or company plan

 

Skills & Abilities Required

• Effective communication skills (written and verbal) for internal and external contacts
• Working knowledge of all matters related to ordering (ex: inventory control systems and principles)
• Reporting and data presentation skills
• Demonstrated capability of systematic problem solving
• Strong organization skills
• Basic math and statistical skills
• Capable of prioritizing multiple tasks and work load
• Negotiating skills necessary to gain support from other departments and / or vendors
• Ability to lead an effective and productive meeting
• Basic computer skills; knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Ability and desire to work in a team environment

 

Minimum Level of Preparation and Training

• High school diploma or equivalent is required
• A Bachelor’s degree or related work experience is required
