Job Title: Guest Service Associate - Black Card Lounge, Rivers Casino Pittsburgh

Position Summary: The Greeter ensures an exceptional experience for all guests at the Black Card Lounge. This role is pivotal in maintaining high standards of hospitality and service, creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor and ensure courteous service throughout their visit.
• Coordinate seating arrangements, assign stations, and manage side work effectively based on the floor chart.
• Maintain a keen eye for cleanliness, ensuring all areas are impeccably presented.
• Collaborate with the host department to ensure guest needs are met, including the provision of complimentary services.
• Complete all closing duties meticulously, ensuring a smooth transition for the next shift.
• Actively participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the promotion of the casino through a positive attitude.
• Familiarity with the menu items and prices.
• Efficiently manage the rotation sheet to track servers' guests.
• Assist servers and bussers during peak times and downtime.
• Operate the cash register in adherence to proper cash handling procedures.
• Handle guest complaints promptly and courteously.
• Maintain a strong awareness of safety protocols and immediately report any incidents to the supervisor.
• Adhere to the dynamic nature of schedules in a fast-paced casino environment.
• Maintain a neat and clean appearance with the appropriate uniform and name tag.

Qualifications:

• Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain effective relationships with staff.
• Proficiency in verbal and written communication in English.
• Basic math skills, including cash handling and making change for customers.
• Ability to operate cash registers, calculators, and credit card machines.
• Ability to complete the pre-employment process successfully.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including holidays.

 Physical Requirements:

• Physical ability to perform duties such as bending, reaching, and lifting up to 25lbs.
