The base salary range for a Salesforce Technical Architect is $106,000.00 to $190,000.00. Actual salaries will vary by geographic location and are based on factors such as candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, competencies, and company tenure & equity. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for a annual incentive plan based on company performance and individual performance.  

This is a multi-level position with increasing levels of responsibility and requirements for each level.

 

Salesforce Technical Architect – Overview

This position plays a crucial role in designing and implementing scalable and robust Salesforce solutions for our organization. Collaborates with stakeholders, development teams, and administrators to architect solutions that align with business goals and ensure the long-term success of Salesforce implementations. Provides salesforce.com administration including advanced configuration such as creating and managing custom objects, fields, formulas, validation rules, custom workflow, Lightning components, Apex triggers and approval processes.

Essential Duties

• Architects end-to-end solutions on the Salesforce platform, considering factors such as scalability, performance, security, and integration with other systems
• Collaborates with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical designs
• Designs data models, system architectures, and integrations to meet business needs
• Leads the configuration and customization of Salesforce applications, including Apex code Visualforce pages, Lightning components, and other declarative features
• Collaborates with administrators to ensure the effective use of out-of-the-box Salesforce features
• Designs and implements integrations between Salesforce and other systems, both internal and external
• Develops strategies for data migration, transformation, and cleansing
• Defines and enforces governance policies related to Salesforce development and deployment
• Ensures compliance with security standards and best practices
• Works closely with business analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and constraints
