Build performant, scalable backend services from scratch, or improve existing ones.</li> <li>Build applications from scratch or pick up existing applications and modify them to meet business or technology needs. </li> <li>Tackle live production challenges - debug, diagnose, and solve with confidence.</li> <li>Design and build APIs and backend logic to support high-volume trading systems. </li> <li>Work closely with team leads and stakeholders to shape features and architecture. </li> <li>Write clean, testable code with a <strong>TDD/BDD-first approach. </strong>Strong focus on solution design, performance, and scalability. </li> <li>Support and mentor junior engineers in the team. </li> <li>Participate in <strong>code reviews</strong>, design sessions, and agile ceremonies. </li> <li>Continuously explore and evaluate new technologies that could enhance the platform. </li> <li>Maintain an appropriate level of competence through ongoing training, making requests for updates or development as required. </li> </ul> <h2>Qualifications</h2> <p><strong>To land this role you will need:</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>5+ years</strong> of experience in backend .NET/C# development.</li> <li>Solid grasp of <strong>.NET Core</strong>, RESTful APIs, multithreading, and system performance .</li> <li>Experience <strong>using Kubernetes or Docker </strong>– it’s a must! </li> <li>Experience working with <strong>high-traffic APIs</strong> and messaging systems like ActiveMQ.</li> <li>Good SQL Server/T-SQL knowledge; NoSQL is a plus. </li> <li>Familiarity with <strong>CI/CD</strong>, agile practices, and DevOps tools (TeamCity, Octopus). </li> <li>Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams. </li> <li>A growth mindset and eagerness to stay current with industry trends.</li> <li>Experience with <strong>financial systems</strong> or <strong>real-time data</strong>?
