Fractures or morphology of the human tibia bone are among the most common cases of osteoporosis or injury.</p> <p>The influence of tibial fractures in the dynamic analysis of the knee is critical to the functionality and stability of the knee joint. </p> <p>Models that take into account the patient-specific motion of the knee joint should significantly improve surgical planning and surgical outcomes. </p> <p>The goal of this bachelor thesis is to analyze and quantitatively evaluate knee dynamics based on patient data using Position-Based Dynamics.</p></p> <p> </p> <p>What you bring to the table</p> <p><p> </p> <ul> <li>Enrolled student in mathematics, computer science, medical engineering or comparable</li> <li>Experience in Python, C++ or another programming language</li> <li>Self-organized and structured approach to work</li> </ul></p> <p> </p> <p>What you can expect</p> <p><p> </p> <ul> <li>Insight into the latest research of medical image processing and image-guided therapies</li> <li>An exciting topic and individual support in the preparation of your thesis by experienced employees</li> <li>Self-determined work and flexible time management</li> <li>Open communication and cooperation within the team</li> </ul></p> <p> </p> <p>The weekly working time is to be agreed individually. This position is also available on a part-time basis. The position is temporary for the time of the scientific work.
