The Senior Director, Marketing Planning and Transformation is the strategic and analytical core of the Brand, Marketing & Communications (BMC) organization. This role owns the transformation agenda for BMC, ensuring strategic cohesion, and is the catalyst for client-facing account management support for all Business Units. Job SummaryThe Senior Director, Marketing Planning and Transformation is the strategic and analytical core of the Brand, Marketing & Communications (BMC) organization. This leader acts as the chief planner, driving a data-first approach to enterprise marketing strategy, financial oversight, and performance management. This role owns the transformation agenda for BMC, ensuring strategic cohesion, and is the catalyst for client-facing account management support for all Business Units. They also drive innovation by using trends and insights to push all teams to think out of the box. The position will report to the Chief Marketing Officer and have responsibility for 4 direct reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning & Agenda: Drive the BMC and enterprise-wide brand and marketing strategic agenda, including audience segmentation, and lead the development and publishing of the annual marketing strategic plan in collaboration with the CMO and pillar leads.
- Performance & ROI: Own the marketing performance framework, including key metrics, dashboards, and reporting mechanisms. Drive accountability and report on Marketing ROI and impact to senior leadership.
- Marketing financials & Resource Management: Own the marketing budget review, planning, allocation, and forecasting process across the BMC function and leads the enterprise-wide evaluation of marketing spend and effectiveness. Drives visibility of total spend and effectiveness. Works closely with Finance teams & CMO to align and support prioritization of spend with leadership.
- Transformation & COE: Serve as the change agent responsible for transforming the BMC into a data-driven, strategic and modern marketing engine and Center of Excellence (COE).
- Account Management Catalyst: Establish and manage the framework for providing account management support to all Business Units, ensuring proactive partnership and efficient fielding of subject matter experts (SMEs).
- Data & Insight: Oversee the Marketing Data & Insights function, ensuring marketing intelligence, analytics, and audience insights drive strategic decision-making and innovation.

Qualifications
Education- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Req
- Master's or other advanced degree Pref
- 10-15 years Progressive experience as a strategic brand, marketing, or communications leader within a complex, global organization. Req
- 10-15 years Significant experience in a senior role focused on marketing planning, marketing operations, performance management, or strategic planning is essential. Req
- Strategic Acumen: Deep understanding of the holistic marketing mix, brand strategy, and the mechanics of driving marketing-led growth in a large organization.
- Data & Analytics Mastery: Non-negotiable expertise in leveraging data, analytics, and marketing intelligence to define strategy, prove ROI, and drive efficiency.
- Financial Literacy: Strong financial acumen with proven experience managing multi-million dollar budgets, resource allocation, and forecasting.
- Change Leadership: Demonstrated success in leading large-scale organizational or functional change/transformation programs.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to translate complex data and strategy into clear, executive-level presentations and influence cross-functional peers.
- Proven track record in leading and managing change and complex organizational pivots.
