QUALIFICATIONS:
- Possess a Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited institution
- Possess a valid Arizona State teaching certificate
- Possess an approved area in Science
- Middle school experience preferred
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team setting
- English as a second language (ESL) endorsement preferred
JOB GOALS:
To create a flexible middle school program in a multidisciplinary team setting and a classroom environment favorable to learning and personal growth; to establish effective rapport with pupils; to motivate pupils to develop skills, attitudes and knowledge to provide a good foundation in accordance with each pupil's ability; to establish good relationships with parents and other staff members; to provide a positive multicultural atmosphere. Student learning is the primary focus of the teacher's professional day.
