Job Description:

Role Summary/Purpose:

As AVP, Transformation Surveillance Manager you will drive the simplification of surveillance test plans as well as automation enhancements for Tech and Ops surveillance.  You will partner with leaders across the surveillance org and L3 processes to understand the L3 process risks and develop strong controls to cover the key risks for our L3 processes.  You will also be identifying automation opportunities within our test plans to reduce manual effort across Tech and Ops surveillance.   You will need to be able to think critically about risks, have strong organization skills and be able to clearly communicate between our surveillance team and IT partners.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Act as owner to understand how surveillance is currently being performed and clearly translate details to our IT partners for all automation opportunities

  • Establish deep understanding of abilities and limitations of Work Management System (WMS) to support surveillance automation efforts

  • Partner with surveillance leaders to simplify and standardize controls across an L3 to create a broader wing to wing approach while still ensuring key risks are covered as outlined in the Surveillance Policy

  • Lead and develop a small team to support relooking at our L3 surveillance coverage and identifying simplification opportunities, better risk mitigation opportunities and automation opportunities

  • Define tracking and metrics to accurately show progress within both the simplification and automation efforts

  • Create and maintain a shared library for surveillance routines, practices, reports and other documentation

  • Develop a strong working relationship with enabling functions like Compliance, Operational Risk and Audit that will help guide the surveillance standardization

  • Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience in project management, process management or program management; in lieu of degree, 7+ years experience in project management, process management or program management

  • 2+ years working knowledge of Operations, Governance, Regulatory and/or Supplier Management

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; demonstrated experience/ability to communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders

  • Experience working with teams cross-functionally

The salary range for this position is 90,000.00 - 155,000.00 USD Annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.

                                 

Actual compensation offered within the posted salary range will be based upon work experience, skill level or knowledge.

Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro and Seattle.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • You must be 18 years or older

  • You must have a high school diploma or equivalent

  • You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process

  • You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.

  • New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles.  Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months’ time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles.  Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 18 months’ time in position before they can post.  All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to
