JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

The College of Information Sciences and Technology invites candidates to apply for a part-time research support position for the artificial intelligence (AI) research program.

The main task for the job is to develop tools for collecting a dataset of image and comment pairs for emotion-aware image and text generation, and to train AI models using the dataset for various downstream tasks. Candidates should have taken courses and have prior experience with machine learning, generative AI, image data analysis, web application development, and python programming.

This part-time position will pay $15 per hour and candidates are expected to work between 5 and 10 hours per week.
