Overview

This role combines material handling operations with comprehensive parts warehouse management. The position is responsible for coordinating incoming/outgoing loads, managing material master data, and sourcing parts while ensuring strict compliance with quality, safety, and accounting standards. Additionally, this role supports maintenance activities through parts identification, preventative maintenance assistance, and equipment staging.

 

Qualifications

Education, Certifications and Experience• Education: High School diploma or equivalent; 2-year degree in Business or Industrial Maintenance preferred. • Experience: 5+ years of material moving/forklift operation and 3+ years in an industrial manufacturing environment. • Certifications: Forklift certification required ; training in rigging for complex lifts is essential. • Systems: Proficiency in SAP, eMaint, and Microsoft Office is required.

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:• Ability to multi-task and communicate professionally with team members.• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and hazardous material handling.• Thorough knowledge of industry, equipment, and parts• Strong written and verbal communication skills• Ability to operate cars, trucks, forklifts and other powered equipment and tools• Ability to use respirators with knowledge of chemicals• Use of required personal protective equipment in the manufacturing environment

 

 

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements

Working Conditions• Fast paced bioprocess/chemical manufacturing maintenance environment working both indoors and outdoors in various temperatures. This position may perform activities in an environment that contains hazardous elements and requires safety awareness and adherence to all safety policies and guidelines. Work must be performed in a safe manner for personal protection and for the protection of other team members. All safety procedures, procedures described in SOPs, JHAs, and support the compliance of applicable ISO standards in all functional areas must be followed, enforced, and strictly complied with.

• Safety, Quality, and Compliance• • Follow all safety, environmental, and quality policies, including SOPs, JHAs, and ISO standards. • • Identify and report hazards immediately to ensure swift correction. • • Utilize required PPE, including respirators, and maintain knowledge of chemical hazards. • • Complete assigned SEQ-related PM work orders. • Warehouse & Inventory Management• • Monitor goods issue service windows and handle daily receipts, including scanning documents into SAP (MIGO). • • Maintain accurate parts locations, perform bin-to-bin transfers, and manage warehouse stock placement. • • Coordinate incoming deliveries and outgoing equipment repairs with Logistics. • • Identify materials for obsoletion and assist with physical inventory audits and fiscal requi
