The Boeing Company-Boeing’s Indirect Supply Chain (ISC) Operational Excellence (OpEx) organization is currently seeking an Experienced Indirect Supply Chain Governance Analyst to join the team in Arlington, VA; North Charleston, SC; Mesa, AZ; Plano, TX; Ridley Park, PA; Seattle, WA; or Hazelwood, MO.

ISC is a team of approximately 200 employees who provide strategic partnership and support to all Boeing business units in the areas of indirect procurement, contracting and category management. We take great pride in creating outsized impact and value across the enterprise.

This Experienced Indirect Supply Chain Governance Analyst will:

  • Be an integral member of the OpEx team

  • Be responsible for updating and maintaining ISC’s command media process documentation

  • Evaluate potential process changes across ISC’s 5 procurement towers

  • Advocate for the function with both internal and external functional partners (legal, compliance, finance, technology, etc.)

Position Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end governance process for ISC compliance documents and maintain ownership over approximately 18 ISC Procedures (PROs)/Business Process Instructions (BPIs)/Supplemental Writings

  • Implement best practice Supply Chain processes and compliance documentation

  • Maintain updated change log for ISC compliance documentation

  • Perform independent research to determine process change impacts

  • Track and respond to all external functional process change requests

  • Consult with ISC category tower focals and external functional partner (legal, compliance, finance, technology, etc.) to evaluate impact on ISC compliance documentation and processes

  • Efficiently communicate any compliance document updates or process impacts to relevant stakeholders

  • Own all ISC process forms, ensuring best practice is implemented across the function and maintenance of required documentation

  • Ensure alignment of ISC compliance documentation and supplemental writing with active processes

  • Champion a customer centric culture

This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience working with Supplier Management, Supply Chain, and/or Procurement practices and processes

  • 3+ years of experience using supply chain system processes and/or compliance requirements

  • 3+ years of experience with performing risk management to minimize potential risks

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher

  • Comparable business experience with exceptional results

  • Master of Business Administration or Master of Science in a related field

  • Experience in ISC policies, procedures and technology

  • Experience with Supply Chain process documentation

  • Experience in appropriately evaluating potential impacts to ISC processes

  • Experience in critical thinking as to downstream process impacts and broader compliance risks

  • Experience in working independently and driving efforts forward on tight deadlines

  • Experience in project management

  • Experience in interpersonal communication with specific focus on actively engaging with internal and external stakeholders. Requires the ability to strongly advocate for ISC function

  • Experience in strong writing skills and attention to detail
