About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Azure Cloud Engineer to design, build, and optimize large-scale, high-performance cloud infrastructure that underpins our advanced AI and data platforms. The ideal candidate will possess broad expertise across Azure cloud and AI services and a proven ability to architect robust, secure, and scalable solutions in multi-tenant environments. This role demands deep technical acumen in Azure capabilities and related services, coupled with strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to drive automation and operational excellence. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative, enterprise-grade cloud solutions that accelerate our Azure initiatives and support the continued evolution of our global platform.
****Position is HYBRID in Raleigh, NC office 3 days a week
Requirements:
Architect and manage Azure infrastructure to support large-scale AI workloads, including Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, Azure Machine Learning, and other Azure services.
Build and operate Infrastructure as Code (IaC) frameworks using Terraform, Powershell, and Azure DevOps for automated provisioning of Azure services.
Knowledge of source code management best practices utilizing Azure DevOps with migration experience to Github and Github Actions.
Design and implement networking, storage, and security architectures that ensure scalability, performance, and compliance for AI systems.
Integrate and manage Azure Services for high-performance AI application delivery.
Drive site reliability engineering (SRE) practices to enhance uptime, resilience, and operational insight across the AI platform.
Lead architectural reviews, provide technical mentorship, and contribute to continuous improvement of infrastructure best practices.
