As a Finance Analyst within PNC's Retail Banking Finance organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA.

This position is primarily based in a PNC location. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities may be performed remotely, at manager’s discretion.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Support of month-end close activities:
- Journal Entries.
- Reconciliations.
- Report creation / maintenance / queries.

Validation of Credit Card Financial Metrics:
- Drivers / enablers of earnings (e.g., purchase volume).
- Oversight / cataloging of credit card financial drivers (e.g., spread, yield, interchange, rewards rate, etc.).

Managing information flow / monthly deliverables to: Retail Finance, Reg Reporting / SEC reporting.

Maintaining month-end control checklist:
- Ensuring month to month, the team has covered off all responsibilities / validations critical to a successful close process.

Ad-Hoc analysis as assigned

Job Description

  • Provides a variety of foundational financial management and accounting services.
  • Assists in the preparation of basic internal financial and business metric reports. Supports quarterly and annual external reports.
  • Contributes to the annual budget and monthly forecast process.
  • Assists in the preparation of ad hoc finance and accounting analysis, which may include management accounting analysis.
  • Assists in the preparation of information in response to requirements of auditors, regulators, and investors. Identifies and escalates key risks to management.
