Digital Design Engineer

Performs semiconductor design engineering assignments including development and testing of wireless connectivity IP for product development for the automotive industry. Review product requirements including IP architecture specifications, features and programming model, microarchitecture and interface specifications. Contributes to IP documentation planning and design, including providing schedule assessments. Designs IP meeting requirements and collaborates with verification team to develop test plans. Monitor production of products and devices to ensure conformance to design specifications as per NXP standard quality and maturity standards including compliance with design specifications, codes, and stated requirements complete verification execution to 100% coverage. Deliver completed IP, including RTL design and supporting documentation. Tracks metrics during IP development, including development plan milestones, code and functional coverage, defect tickets, and tracing requirements versus design specification.
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Computer Engineering (with related variants such as VLSI or Physics), foreign equivalent or related field.
Required skills:
Position requires completion of a graduate-level course, research project, internship or thesis involving:
- UVM(Universal Verification Methodology);
- Verilog and System Verilog;
- Register Transfer Languages (RTL) coding;
- Verification and simulation tools;
- Perl, Cadence;
- Logic synthesis with DC;
- FIFO Design; and
- ASIC VLSI design.
Annual Salary: $151,091
The base salary range for this position is as mentioned below per year. We also provide competitive benefits, incentive compensation, and/or equity for certain roles.

Please note that the base salary range (OR hourly rate) is a guideline, and individual total compensation may vary based on a number of factors such as qualifications, skill level, work location, and other business and organizational needs.
