Job Description

Team:

Database Provisioning builds the tools that safely operate and manage the databases running within ServiceNow data centers.

The CLI interface tools that we create are used by internal operations and support teams and by every automation running in a ServiceNow data center. As a team, our challenge is to deliver high-quality solutions that operate reliably without interruption at a massive scale. What you’ll do in this role:

• Experience in PostgreSQL, PostgreSQL extensions, and PostgreSQL-specific deployment and operationalization strategies
• Strong multi-year track record in senior management
• Proven ability to manage cross-cultural teams, including managing across time zones.
• Professional experience and qualifications in agile software development
• Strong background in contributing to large organizational programs, including a proven track record in managing stakeholders, working across multiple teams, and prioritizing engineering work for the best results.
• In-depth knowledge of the ServiceNow platform persistence layer -- in particular provisioning, automation, database, and how all of these are operated and supported.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software industry experience
• Experience developing platform backend.

For positions in California (outside of the Bay Area), we offer a base pay of $166,230 - $290,970, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation, and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On-Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location. We also offer health plans, including flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, matching donations, a flexible time away plan, and family leave programs (subject to eligibility requirements). Compensation is based on the geographic location in which the role is located and is subject to change based on work location. For individuals who will be working in the Bay Area, there is a pay enhancement for positions located in that geographical area; please contact your recruiter for additional information.
