As a Security Officer Full Time Afternoon Patrol in San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and assist with access control and visitor interactions. You will provide professional customer service, communicate observations, and support a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the building, customer areas, parking facilities, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as required by site procedures, and report unusual conditions to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required activity logs for patrols, incidents, and security-related observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
