• Performs guest room preventative maintenance duties such as painting, battery replacement, smoke detector checks, and HVAC cleaning.
• Promptly responds to reports of guest problems and concerns
• Performs general repairs for guestrooms and the property
• Maintains the grounds, outbuildings, and parking areas in a clean, net, safe and attractive manner
• Checks Maintenance Tracking System regularly to ensure any maintenance requests are completed.
• Keeps team and Chief Engineer promptly and fully informed of all problems for timely corrective action

• Willingness to openly embrace and actively demonstrate the company's Vision, Mission, Values, Culture and Operating Philosophy
• Prior hotel, building or apartment maintenance experience is desirable, but not necessary
• General knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing and building construction
• Common knowledge of power and hand tools 
• Ability to perform task-oriented repetitive functions consistently, on-time and error free
• Demonstrate a team player attitude
• Ability to be patient and creatively problem solve
• Reliability and honesty
