Requirements
Responsibilities:
Report to the Senior Service Supervisor and Senior Regional Property Manager. The Landscaper Coordinator will be responsible for all landscaping maintenance and master operation of landscaping tools and equipment and for routine landscaping duties as well as additional landscaping projects for each apartment community that will include, but may not be limited to:
- Contacting Vendors, getting quotes, providing overall
- Maintain and operate all levels of landscape equipment (leaf/snow blowers, mowers, and trimmers) and machinery with a comprehensive understanding of safety standards.
- Operate hand tools such as pruners, looping shears, shovels, and rakes.
- Assist with the daily wash down of the property using water hoses, sweeper vehicles, and backpack blowers.
- Install prune, and remove mulch, trees, flowers, and/or shrubs.
- Water/fertilize and remove weeds.
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment including cleaning, greasing, oiling, and fueling.
Requirements:
- Must be able to work in outdoor conditions.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to work daily.
- Must have experience with mowers, sprayers, large landscape equipment, and overall ground maintenance at a supervisory level.
- Must be able to adequately pass a drug screening and background check.
- Must effectively and efficiently direct team members with minimal oversight.
- Must be able to interpret and implement landscape architectural designs.
- Must have 5+ years of experience in a landscape maintenance and development environment.
Education and Experience:
· High School Diploma or Equivalent.
· At least three years of experience in landscaping design and horticultural experience in a supervisory capacity.
· Experience in fertilizer preparation.
