Hourly Rate Range: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Location: 7945 MacArthur Blvd. Ste 214 Cabin John, Maryland 20818 United States (On-site)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, Full-Time/Non Exempt Position

Clinical Support Staff role provides a wide array of services to clients and their families. Therefore, they must be able to fit seamlessly into several “teams” and flow in a flexible manner from one aspect of the job to another. Clinical Support Staff are required to support both the clinical and non-clinical staff to ensure the overall success of clients and their families within the program. The Clinical Support Staff is responsible for the development, growth, promotion, and sustainability of the Intensive Outpatient Clinic and Partial Hospitalization Program, by utilizing innovative workflows and emerging technologies to enhance patient care and wellness within Embark Behavioral Health Local Brief Treatment Division.
Responsibilities
The Clinical Support Staff reports to the Assistant Clinical Director. As a Clinical Support Staff, the primary role is to model the values and principles of Embark by providing exceptional individual and group therapeutic experiences to clients and families. The Clinical Support Staff will also assist in establishing stellar customer engagement/relations systems and ensure an overall therapeutic milieu to clients and families.
- Learn and maintain Embark culture and program norms and living these standards consistently.
- Continued drive and passion for continued growth and development as a professional as evidenced by attending at least two ongoing continued education trainings annually, and expresses interest in the growth and development of Embark
- Maintain the values, mission, and responsibilities of the Embark BH Clinical Support Staff
- Arriving 30 minutes early to the start of group programming and staying 30 minutes after group programming to assist as needed.
- Maintaining a direct line of sight of clients during breaks, outings, meal-times, etc., in order to maintain the overall therapeutic milieu and to engage clients when needed.
- Complete EBH Suicide Screener as needed for clients, and inform Licensed Clinician as needed, if Suicide Assessment is needed further, based off Suicide Screener outcomes
- Co-facilitate Group Therapy sessions
Qualifications
- Completion or near completion of bachelor's degree or higher in Behavioral Sciences strongly preferred. Completion of high school diploma is a minimum requirement.
- Experience working in a behavioral health setting
- Ability to pass a state background check
- Effective communication skills.
- Team player.
- Flexibility a must.
- First Aid & CPR certified preferred.
