Join Hiab's HR team, providing local HR support to the business across our sites. We are a small HR team based in Helsinki and Raisio.

Our HR delivery model comprises three pillars: HR Strategic Functions drive HR strategy and excel in key processes; Business HR support and consult businesses on people decisions, integrating them into strategy and daily operations; HR Operations ensure smooth day-to-day HR activities. Through close collaboration, we deliver high-quality HR services across all areas.

Main tasks and responsibilities

 

 

  • Provide HR partnering to support Hiab’s business plans and translate them into local HR action plans in our Raisio Factory and installation and maintenance - service centers
  • Support line managers in HR activities designed to ensure Hiab’s desired leadership, culture and values especially in the a factory setting
  • Ensure efficient employment life-cycle activities and compliance with HR policies and acting as a second line for inquiries and problem solving (with HR Services as the first line)
  • Manage employee relations and maintain local works council relationships as well as the occupational safety committee
  • Manage onboarding processes, employment contracts, trainings and recruitment together with our global HR Services
  • Coordinate and carry out tasks related to the HR calendar, potentially engage in projects, and offer assistance with our internal HR systems e.g Jotbar (Time and Attendance system).

What you’ll need to succeed

 

  • General HR experience with a relevant educational background
  • Experience in a production/blue-collar environment
  • Proven problem-solving skills and ability to handle local issues, you have experience in implementing and following up work through network relations (rather than direct reports)
  • Ability to support and coach others to build success together
  • Fluent in Finnish and English, with strong IT and analytical skills
  • High integrity, attention to detail, and a positive, results-driven attitude.
