Your Career

You will provide guidance and technical support to clients deploying our security integrations. You’ll act as the technical partner, providing strategic guidance around complex systems to secure a digital environment. Interacting directly with the client, you’ll partner closely with client personnel to guide and suggest integrations to better serve their success. Your thorough understanding of our product integrations contributes to the development of new principles and concepts – providing detailed analysis around what’s working, what’s not, and what could be better.

Your Impact

• Work full-time at the customer site
• Communicate effectively with customers, sales teams, peers, engineering, and support teams
• Understand customer environment, requirements, and security roadmap for implementing appropriate security solutions
• Configure, implement, and maintain the Security Operating Platform
• Optimize and migrate policies and objects from the existing environment to our Next-Gen Firewall
• Test, validate, and coordinate the migration environment and cutover to production
• Provide guidance on code upgrades
• Facilitate the development of new applications and threat signatures
• Interact with the Technical Assistance Center (TAC) to understand and diagnose support cases
• Implement network segment controls following NIST and RMF frameworks
• Validate and implement proof of concepts in lab environments
• Provide technical implementation and strategic customer support, communicating from engineering to C-suite executives

Qualifications

Your Experience

• Must possess an active Top Secret security clearance with SCI CI Polygraph
• Must have a DoD 8570 IAT Level II Compliant Certification (Sec+, CCNA Security, CISSP, etc.)
• High level of experience with Panorama, log collectors, and NGFW
• Detailed technical experience in installing, configuring, and operating high-end firewall appliances, preferably Palo Alto Networks® products
• Proficient in internetworking, LAN, and WAN technologies, including a good understanding of Internet protocols and applications
• Minimum of 5 years experience with network/security solutions and technologies, including BGP, SD-WAN concepts, VXLAN, and general routing and switching
• Minimum of 3 years experience leading security solutions in large environments
• Design and implementation experience with LANs and VLANs
• Familiarity with IDS/IPS solutions and technologies
• Experience troubleshooting network connectivity issues and maintaining operational environments
• Strong TCP/IP networking skills
• Experience with classified transport networks and cloud providers like AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with senior leaders and technical peers
• Able to handle multiple projects and work calmly under high pressure
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
