UltraViolet Cyber (UV Cyber) is seeking an experienced Application Security and Risk Engineer with a background in security engineering. This role will work closely with customer application development teams, product managers and third-party groups to ensure customer applications are secure. Additionally, this role will be tasked by the customer to assess and provide recommendation on AWS Cloud Security and infrastructure security controls.

UltraViolet Cyber (UV Cyber) is seeking an experienced Application Security and Risk Engineer with a background in security engineering. Responsibilities
- Partner cross-functionally with backend developers and operations to improve security controls across the organization.
- Collaborate with cloud automation teams to ensure continuous integration is built with security in mind.
- Implement cloud native security tooling to assist in monitoring product infrastructure.
- Perform security design reviews for supporting product features and enhancements.
- Develop, communicate, and maintain security knowledge and standards.
- Perform risk assessments and audits of cloud infrastructure and provide feedback to communicate best practices and remediation strategies.
