Job Description:
The Oracle Software Developer is responsible for understanding the entire life cycle of software applications, while designing, coding, documenting and testing new and existing system capability across various components within the PeopleSoft application. The Developer will collaborate with functional resources to understand customer requirements and provide sustainable solutions, while operating in an Agile environment. The Developer is also expected to provide PeopleSoft system demonstrations for prospective solutions, and participate in innovation iterations designed to drive positive change in user experience.
Responsibilities include:
The Oracle Software Developer will be responsible for working with functional analysts to understand user requirements and perform application development based on the user requirements. The developer will analyze, design, code and test across various components of the PeopleSoft applications. Will also perform maintenance, enhancements and troubleshooting of application issues.
Here's what you need:
- Bachelors degree or 4 years of experience in software development
- Experience with relational databases
- Knowledge of SQL
- Understanding of Software Development lifecycle
- Experience working in Agile environment
- Familiarity with Object Oriented programing
- Experience with ERP implementation or sustainment of that application
- Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of experience in software development
Bonus points if you have:
- Knowledge with any of the following:
- PeopleCode
- PeopleSoft fluid development
- PeopleSoft HR
- Enterprise learning management or FSCM (finance)
- PeopleSoft update manager (PUM)
- BI publisher
Security Clearance:
- Active Top Secret federal security clearance
As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, New York, Washington, and the District of Columbia. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience.
