A Day in the Life
- Administrative Support: You’ll coordinate meetings, support executive team members, and help keep key document review processes organized and on track. You’ll also serve as backup to the Executive Administrator when needed.
- Board Coordination: You’ll support Board of Directors meetings and events, maintain official records and life-of-the-cooperative documentation, and process director expenses and education records.
- Project Support: You’ll help keep projects moving by maintaining the project database, capturing updates, scheduling meetings, and tracking action items.
- Government Affairs & Advocacy: You’ll coordinate legislative visits, communicate with public officials, track cooperative legislative efforts, and support participation in PAC programs.
- Election Coordination: You’ll manage the annual director nomination and election process, ensuring everything is handled fairly and in compliance with bylaws and board policies.
Requirements
- Education & Experience: High school diploma plus at least two years of administrative experience, or a combination of education and experience.
- Skills: Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and maintain confidentiality. Applies critical thinking and sound judgement to solve problems and anticipate needs. Comfortable using Microsoft 365 and standard business systems.
Additional Details
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., based at the Braham, MN Headquarters building.
- Hybrid Option: This position offers a hybrid work arrangement after a training period.
