Position will be posted until filled.

This role manages the Association’s funding and pricing functions, as well as playing a pivotal role in maintaining exceptional service and relations with the Association’s Go-To-Market (GTM) teams and support staff through continuous communication regarding funding and pricing issues.  This individual will serve as the primary Treasury liaison for all funding and transfer pricing issues.  This role assists in analyzing and implementing a financial modeling and analysis platform supporting the Association’s funding operations, financial and economic analysis, and interest rate risk modeling and management that are aligned with the Association’s risk appetite and financial objectives. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Manage the day-to-day activities of the Association’s debt portfolio, including liquidity risk management, and performance and risk reporting.
  • Develop, analyze, and execute strategies that align with the Association’s risk appetite and enable the Association to achieve its desired financial objectives.
  • Assist in management of the Association’s risk based pricing tool, including development of methodologies and assumptions, and communicating the purpose and use of the pricing tool.
  • Maintain and manage sophisticated modeling platforms utilized for internal transfer pricing, prepayment fee, conversion fee, breakage fee, and other loan product related fees along with ad-hoc analysis.
  • Assist in the Association’s financial strategic planning process, including development, presentation, and implementation of asset/liability management strategies.
  • Monitor market conditions and communicate implications on debt portfolio and funds transfer pricing.
  • Partner with various lending channels to analyze and structure complex deals.
  • Provide GTM team support and training for loan products and pricing.
  • Provide leadership and knowledge around fixed income markets, capital markets, and interest rate risk.
  • Provide leadership for the Association during audits, exams and consulting engagements related to Treasury and Asset/Liability Management.
  • Maintain key relationships with system banks along with other ALM Associations.
  • Maintain appropriate internal controls over trading activity.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of funding and hedging and interest rate products and pricing procedures.
  • Monitor and report on pricing, funding, or liquidity related programs/issues.
  • Assist in the review and refinement of existing pricing practices and tools and participate in the development and application of new loan products and pricing methodologies. 
  • Research, analyze, and present pricing related issues and special projects and provide ALCO support.
  • Research, analyze, and present funding and hedging related issues to Market Strategies and Market Risk Committees.
  • Develop and manage pricing reporting that enables the association to better understand profitability as well as monitor and communicate exception pricing.
  • Develop and communicate competitive pricing reports.
  • Promote and provide exceptional customer service to all internal and external customers.
  • Perform other duties assigned.

LEVELS OF SUPERVISION EXERCISED AND RECEIVED:

May exercise indirect supervision of employees.  Makes independent decisions; works under general direction of the Director of Treasury Operations.

TYPICAL KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:

  • BA/BS degree in Finance or related discipline, and at least 10 years of Finance or Credit related experience.  Chartered Financial Analyst (C
