Warehouse Associate

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Warehouse Associate to join our team. The Warehouse Associate will be 3-month contract, responsible for various tasks within the warehouse, including receiving, inspecting, processing, and distributing merchandise, as well as fulfilling customer orders and maintaining inventory control. The ideal candidate will be proficient in departmental processes, able to work independently, and possess excellent communication skills. This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively with team members to achieve our goals.

Responsibilities

• Carefully unpack and meticulously inspect returned merchandise
• Utilize software to efficiently receive/monitor incoming merchandise
• Execute precise processing and distribution of merchandise in alignment with standardized operating procedures (SOP)
• Conduct thorough reviews of merchandise to determine appropriate disposition, including restocking, returning, or disposal
• Uphold inventory control measures based on SOP guidelines
• Accurately fulfill new customer orders
• Proactively communicate any vendor or processing issues to internal stakeholders
• Collaborate seamlessly with fellow associates on shared assignments
• Demonstrate adaptability by flexibly embracing additional job assignments directed by management
• Maintain unwavering focus and productivity in a dynamic, fast-paced environment to consistently meet and exceed customer service expectations
• Embrace and adhere to the highest ethical standards in all job duties

Physical Requirements

• While performing the duties of this job, you are regularly required to stand, push/pull, squat, and bend. You will remain in standing position likely 100% of your shift, often using carts, dollies and other gear to move items around. This position regularly lifts and/or moves up to 30 lbs, sometimes more!
