System Integration and Workflow Specialist (SYSWFS)

We currently have a vacancy for a System Integration & Workflow Specialist fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Brussels. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.

Your tasks:

• Design, plan and implement integration strategies/patterns in a JEE/HTTP-secured ecosystem;
• Apply best practices of a distributed architecture to solve complex integration problems between information systems;
• Design and document APIs to be exposed in a secure manner on a public-facing API Gateway;
• Design, implement and document business events to be easily produced on a corporate event-streaming platform;
• Design, plan and document workflows; business process definition and task definition (service or user tasks) relying on APIs and business events;
• Work in a container-based infrastructure.

Requirements

• University degree in IT, combined with at least 9 years of working experience;
• Good knowledge of HTTP and API design as well as JEE and REST or SOAP APIs;
• Excellent knowledge of at least one BPMN workflow engine;
• Good knowledge of asynchronous communication and publish/subscribe techniques and technologies such as Apache Kafka, JMS;
• Excellent knowledge of integration testing best practices;
• Sound knowledge of distributed or microservice architectures and complex event processing;
• Sound knowledge of Web security, OAuth2.0 and OpenID Connect;
• Experience working with open-source projects;
• Good knowledge of Enterprise Architecture as well as Relational DBMS;
• Expertise in business process analysis;
• Proven experience in RUP methodology (preferably for Web-based applications);
• Familiarity/experience with Developer 11g, BPMN 2.0 standard, activity workflow engine, WSP (WS-Security Policies) and/or Oracle Service Bus 10.3 would be an advantage;
• Any of the following certificates would be considered an asset: JEE, Business Process Management, workflow patterns, microservice architectures and patterns, Domain Driven Design, Enterprise Integration Patterns, Complex event processing, API design and security;
• Excellent command of the English language.
