Innovation & Commercial Enablement Director

**This position is eligible for a $5000 sign on bonus 

 

Key Purpose

The Innovation and Commercial Enablement Director is responsible for defining and executing our innovation strategy, fostering a culture of creativity and problem-solving, and driving commercialization of innovative products and services. As the Innovation and Commercial Enablement Director at ISS Guckenheimer, you will be a forward-thinker with a proven track record in guiding innovation initiatives from ideation to market success.

• Coordinate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including R&D teams, business development, partners, and customers, to gather insights and feedback to shape innovation strategies

• Proven experience in leading innovation initiatives in Food Service/ Operations industry
• Strong strategic thinking and visionary leadership
• Exceptional project management skills and the ability to drive projects from concept to commercialization
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• In-depth knowledge of emerging technologies and market trends
• Proficiency in financial analysis and budget management
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
• An understanding of intellectual property and its role in innovation

 

Key Accountabilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive innovation strategy that aligns with the company's mission and goals
• Provide visionary leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration
• Lead the ideation and conceptualization of innovative products, services, and business models by encouraging creative thinking and problem-solving
• Evaluate emerging technologies, trends, and market dynamics to identify potential opportunities and threats
• Oversee innovation projects from conception to commercialization, ensuring efficient execution, resource allocation, and adherence to timelines
• Assess and mitigate risks associated with innovation projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
• Drive the commercialization of innovative products and services, taking into account market demand, pricing, distribution, and sales strategies
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and stay ahead of market trends
• Develop and manage budgets for innovation projects and track financial performance against set targets

 

Physical Demands & Work Environment

• Sitting at a computer for long periods of time, at least 90% of the time 
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 10 pounds 
• Must be able to work under pressure and time deadlines during peak periods 

 

** Bonus to be paid after 30 days of employment and is subject to an 18 month payback agreement.
