Job Description:

The Department of Economics invites applications for a tenure-track position at the assistant professor level for Fall 2026.  Candidates should have a Ph.D. in Economics or expect to complete the degree by July 2026. Teaching load is 3-2.  Strong preference will be given to candidates with a field in Economic History. Candidates must be willing and able to teach a course in the History of Economic Thought with an emphasis on Adam Smith. Candidates should demonstrate strong research potential, as well as a commitment to excellent teaching and mentoring in a liberal arts setting.
