We believe there is a massive opportunity to unlock productivity by placing data and intelligence at the core of business processes - and for that, we need you to join us.</p><p><strong>The Role:</strong><span><br/></span><span><br/></span>We are seeking a highly skilled Health &amp; Safety Manager to lead and oversee the occupational health and safety (OHS) programs for our company in Madrid and other Celonis offices globally.</p> <p>With a workforce of over 500 employees in Madrid, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining policies and procedures that ensure compliance with local, national, and EU safety regulations while fostering a strong safety culture across the organization.</p> <p>Additionally, you will be responsible for defining and monitoring the implementation of the company's global H&amp;S strategy in alignment with other Workplace Managers and HR teams. </p> <p><strong>The Work You’ll Do:</strong></p> <p><strong>Health &amp; Safety Strategy &amp; Compliance</strong></p> <ul> <li>Develop, implement, and monitor the company’s health &amp; safety policies, procedures, and programs in compliance with Spanish legislation (e.g., Ley de Prevención de Riesgos Laborales 31/1995) and EU regulations</li> <li>Conduct risk assessments and workplace inspections to identify hazards, assess risks, and implement preventive measures.</li> <li>Ensure compliance with regulatory bodies such as INSST (Instituto Nacional de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo) and local labor authorities.</li> <li>Keep up to date with changes in HSE legislation and best practices to ensure company compliance.</li> <li>Define global H&amp;S strategy for Celonis and ensure its implementation at each location</li> <li>Contribute and assist in all global H&amp;S audits and keep adequate records</li> </ul> <p><strong>Training &amp; Culture Development</strong></p> <ul> <li>Design and deliver health &amp; safety training programs for employees at all levels, including emergency response, first aid, ergonomics, and safe work practices</li> <li>Promote a strong safety culture within the company by driving awareness campaigns, toolbox talks, and safety committees.</li> <li>Lead and manage safety drills and emergency preparedness exercises.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Incident Management &amp; Reporting</strong></p> <ul> <li>Investigate workplace accidents, incidents, and near-misses, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.</li> <li>Maintain and analyze incident reports, trends, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive continuous safety improvements.</li> <li>Ensure the proper reporting of occupational illnesses and accidents to regulatory authorities.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Coordination </strong></p> <ul> <li>Act as the main point of contact for all health &amp; safety-related matters within the organization.</li> <li>Work closely with HR, Workplace, and department heads to integrate HSE practices into daily business operations.</li> <li>Manage external audits, inspections, and interactions with health &amp; safety service providers (e.g., occupational health services, external risk prevention agencies).</li> </ul> <p><strong>Emergency &amp; Crisis Management</strong></p> <ul> <li>Develop and oversee emergency response plans and coordinate crisis management procedures.</li> <li>Ensure proper fire safety measures, evacuation plans, and emergency response team training.</li> </ul> <p><strong>The Qualifications You Need:</strong></p> <ul> <li>University degree (Bachelor's or equivalent) and a Master’s degree in Occupational Risk Prevention.</li> <li>Certifications in Health &amp; Safety (e.g. NEBOSH, IOSH, ISO 45001 Lead Auditor) are highly desirable.</li> <li>Minimum 3-4 years of experience in a Health &amp; Safety role, preferably in a large organization.</li> <li>Strong knowledge of Spanish and EU health &amp; safety regulations.</li> <li>Experience conducting risk assessments, audits, and investigations.</li> <li>Excellent communication with the ability to influence and engage employees at all levels.</li> <li>Fluency in Spanish and  English (written &amp; spoken) is required.</li> <li>Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.</li> </ul><p><strong>What Celonis Can Offer You:</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Pioneer Innovation:</strong> Work with the leading, award-winning process mining technology, shaping the future of business.</li> <li><strong>Accelerate Your Growth:</strong> Benefit from clear career paths, internal mobility, a dedicated learning program, and mentorship opportunities.</li> <li><strong>Receive Exceptional Benefits:</strong> Including generous PTO, hybrid working options, company equity (RSUs), comprehensive benefits, extensive parental leave, dedicated volunteer days, and <a href="https://careers.celonis.com/life-at-celonis/benefits" target="_bl
