Job Details

Serves as the Patient Experience and Guest Services Departments initial contact for resolving patients, families and visitor’s questions, concerns and complaints. The Patient Ambassador actively supports, and any all programs and initiatives designed to positively impact the patient, families and visitors overall experience.

Job Description

  • Screens inquirers through, snail mail, phone calls and emails from patients, families and visitor received through direct contact or through the Jefferson Advisory email and hotline. 
  • Coordinate management of patients’ lost belongings/valuables   Coordinate and support the hospital’s program for foreign and sign language interpretation 
  • Facilitate and coordinate amenities/services that support and enhance positive patient experiences  
  • Actively round on patients and families and support staff with patient and family needs.   
  • Others duties as assigned.

Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED  required

Experience:

  • 2 years of customer service, preferably in a healthcare setting preferred.
