Our Headquarters are in Brussels and we have active accounts and offices across Europe (i.e. Luxembourg, Amsterdam, Athens, Stockholm, Geneva).</p> <p><br/></p> <p><strong>Is this YOU?</strong></p> <p>For one of our main clients based in<strong> Amsterdam, The Netherlands -</strong> an European Institution, we are looking for a<strong> Senior Solution Architect</strong> to join our team to support the ICT operations and cloud-based solutions in a healthcare area. You will play a crucial role in driving innovation for one of the key EU Institutions' projects.</p> <p><br/></p> <p><strong>What you should do?</strong></p> <p><strong>-</strong>Lead the creation and review of end-to-end domain architecture and<br/>processes to support the strategic requirements of the business. Identify the<br/>business benefits of alternative strategies.<br/>-Design solutions that comply with Enterprise Architecture standards,<br/>communicate solution architecture and ensure it is sufficiently documented.<br/>-Contribute in the specification of business requirements and ensure that are<br/>feasible and economical.<br/>-Ensure compliance between business strategies, enterprise architecture and<br/>technology directions, setting strategies, policies, standards and practices.<br/>-Produce solution architecture deliverables, as per the SOL team’s standards.<br/>-Lead the decision making process related to the solution architecture and<br/>ensure they are justified and documented.</p> <p>-Ensure functional and non-functional requirements are met by the system’s <br/>architecture and liaise with the stakeholders where necessary.<br/>-Provide effort and license cost estimates and work breakdown structure for <br/>the design and implementation of solutions.<br/>-Contribute in the definition of the software development lifecycle, specifically <br/>in the definition of roles and responsibilities, deliverables and ways of working <br/>for the solution design and solution development process. <br/>-Conduct proof of concepts for new technology developments and keep up to <br/>date technology standards.<br/>-Create and communicate multiple design views to identify and balance the <br/>concerns of all stakeholders of the domain design and to allow for both <br/>functional and non-functional requirements. Identify and evaluates alternative <br/>design options and trade-offs. <br/>-Ensure that domain architecture decisions are justified and documented. <br/>Assess and manage associated risks.<br/>-Ensure that platforms and components selected for delivery of a domain <br/>specific solution are integrated to achieve domain objectives. <br/>-Present domain architecture to governance bodies, address resulting <br/>architectural actions and participate in the overall IT governance structures.<br/>-Partner with Platform Architects from the Strategic Platforms (I-SP) <br/>department in order to assess and optimise domain functional requirements <br/>and augment with technical requirements from the platform architecture.<br/>-Partner with the Enterprise Architect from the CIO Office to ensure that the <br/>domain architecture fits into the broader enterprise architecture.<br/>-Contribute to solutions testing and identify potential improvements to the <br/>domain solution, processes and to the strategic platforms according to agreed <br/>designs/requirements. <br/>-Collaborate with Business Analysis function in identifying and preventing <br/>risks from the requirements gathering phase and all through the lifecycle of <br/>the solution.</p> <p>-Support continuous knowledge transfer to team members and transparent <br/>approach in sharing risks/issues/dependencies.<br/>-Report outcome of testing through the JIRA SDLC tool/ Azure DevOps.<br/>-Identify potential improvements to the process and to the software products <br/>according to agreed designs/requirements.<strong><br/></strong></p> <h3>Requirements</h3> <p>-Bachelor's/Master's degree - mandatory;</p> <p>-BCS, TOGAF, SWEBOK or other equivalent and valid architecture certificates;<
