About the JobThe Instructional Designer I is a full-time position reporting to the Director of Curriculum Development. The Instructional Designer works closely with the Curriculum Development Team in managing the continuous quality curriculum improvement program for all adult undergraduate and graduate programs/courses. The Instructional Designer is expected to be comfortable with multiple models of instructional design, as well as best practices in adult accelerated and online learning. Job Location

We’re looking for candidates who have:
  1.  A master’s degree from an accredited university is required.
  2.  Knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook required.
  3.  Two to three years of instructional design experience preferred.
  4.  Experience with adult education and online education preferred.
  5.  Experience with online learning platforms such as Brightspace or a similar system preferred.
  6.  Experience with multimedia development using tools such as Premiere Pro, Camtasia, Articulate, Captivate, Photoshop, or equivalent platforms preferred.
  7.  Strong skills in organization, project management, time management, problem-solving, and decision-making.
  8.  High attention to detail while maintaining a strategic perspective.
  9.  Ability to work effectively with individuals with different backgrounds and levels of expertise.
  10.  Demonstrated current knowledge in the field and a commitment to stay on the cutting edge of   instructional design and development.
