Summary
The Senior Project Manager, Brokerage Agents at DSV Road Inc will play a pivotal role in driving growth and enhancing operational efficiencies within our freight brokerage agent network. Your primary focus will be on developing and implementing strategic programs, fostering relationships, recruiting, and optimizing processes to maximize productivity and profitability.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Design, implement, and manage strategic programs tailored to the needs of freight brokerage agents. Continuously assess market trends and agent feedback to refine program offerings and ensure competitiveness.
• Cultivate strong relationships with existing and prospective brokerage agents. Serve as the primary point of contact for agent inquiries, escalations, and relationship-building activities.
• Develop and deliver training programs and materials to enhance agent productivity, industry knowledge, and adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the performance of brokerage agents. Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans to drive results.
• Streamline operational processes related to agent onboarding, carrier management, load tracking, and Administrative practices to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities and market trends. Utilize insights to develop strategies for expanding the company's presence in the freight brokerage industry.
• Ensure that brokerage agents comply with regulatory requirements and company policies. Mitigate risks associated with non-compliance and implement corrective measures as needed.
• Collaborate with agents to develop new processes around sales, operations, finance, and technology to support them in achieving their company goals.
• Effectively utilize network contacts to identify and expand DSV network of brokerage agents.

• Availability to travel as needed to support agents and business needs across the nation.

• Self-motivated, with the ability to work autonomously
Educational background / Work experience / Qualifications
• 7+ years of Business Development experience in the freight brokerage/logistics industry.
• Strong knowledge of all products including Supply chain solutions, Freight brokerage, Carrier Procurement, Pricing strategies, and Contract logistics.
• Previous experience in a managerial position
Language Skills
• Business fluent in English
Computer Literacy
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and others)

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand. The employee is often required to walk and use hand and eye coordination. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Work Hours and Environment
Normal working hours for this position are Monday – Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, however, working beyond these hours will often be required by business needs.
For this position, the expected base pay is: $104,500- $156,000/ Annual. Actual base compensation will be determined based on various factors
