About the role

Purpose: Support the generation of critical insights by conducting detailed analyses and research, contributing to both operational and strategic decision-making within the Medical Affairs Therapeutic Area. Act as a liaison between the Medical Insights and other Medical Analytics Centers of Excellence (COEs).

Responsibilities:

  • Data Collection: Gather and organize data from various sources such as market research reports, medical literature, internal databases (Structured and Unstructured Text Data), social media, and machine learning models.
  • Insight Generation: Synthesize data to identify trends, opportunities, and actionable insights that support the therapeutic area's goals, utilizing Gen AI and advanced analytics techniques.
  • Innovation: Lead the adoption and integration of cutting-edge tools, emerging technologies, and Gen AI applications to ensure they are fit for purpose within the TA.
  • Reporting: Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations that communicate findings effectively to the Medical Analytics team and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborate: Work closely with the Manager and Director to integrate insights into broader strategic plans and initiatives.
  • Conduct Analyses: Support market research and secondary data analyses, ensuring accuracy and relevance of findings.
  • Support Projects: Provide analytical support for ongoing projects, ensuring timely and efficient completion of tasks.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay updated on emerging trends, best practices, and new methods in medical analytics, Gen AI, machine learning, and market research.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure the integrity and quality of data and analysis, adhering to best practices and standards.
  • Knowledge Development: Develop a deep understanding of the therapeutic areas, including products, customer segments, and competitive strategies.

Basic Qualifications:

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

  • Bachelors degree computer science, health informatics , life sciences and related fields
  • Strong background in data science, including experience with machine learning algorithms, statistical analysis, and data visualization.
  • Experience in analyzing complex data sets, including those processed through machine learning models, and derive meaningful insights.
  • Proficient in analytical tools and software such as Excel, R, SQL, Python, Power BI, Smartsheet, and machine learning platforms
  • Proactively identify areas for analysis, including the potential application of Gen AI and machine learning, and contribute to problem-solving

Preferred Qualifications:

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

  • Ability to analyze and contribute to the design of primary research studies.
  • Exceptional attention to detail to ensure accuracy and reliability of analysis.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills to present findings clearly and concisely.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team, supporting both managers and directors.
  • Flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities and requirements
  • Strong critical thinking skills to interpret data and generate insights
  • Eagerness to learn and apply new methods and techniques in analytics
