As our Senior Scrum Master and Agile Coach, you’ll be at the heartbeat of agile practices at Collective[i], helping one of our product development teams and spreading enthusiasm for agile practices across the company.
In this pivotal role, you will guide one of our product development teams and provide strategic coaching to the wider organization on agile practices. This role is crucial in facilitating our evolution and maintenance of agile methodologies, ensuring we remain adaptive and customer-focused in our approach.

Responsibilities

• Act as a Scrum Master/Agile Coach for a product development team, facilitating ceremonies and coaching team members to help the team perform at its highest level
• Foster a collaborative environment of continuous improvement, collective ownership and autonomous teams
• Work closely with product owners to ensure a well-groomed product backlog and effective product roadmap alignment
• Provide organization-wide training and workshops on agile methodologies and mindset
• Act as a change agent to drive organizational agility, working with other leaders and teams across the organization
• Identify and remove impediments to the team’s progress, facilitating discussions and conflict resolution
• Promote a culture of innovation, flexibility, and openness to change
• Measure and report on the effectiveness of agile practices and implement improvements based on empirical evidence
• Help drive our Agile Community of Practice

Qualifications

• 7+ years of scrum master and agile coaching experience
• Experience on a development team
• Advanced knowledge of agile and lean practices and frameworks
• Excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills
• Ability to problem solve across multiple disciplines (technical, legal, business) 
• Strong leadership skills and ability to inspire team members
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills
• Ability to effectively manage conflicting priorities
• Experience in a startup environment preferred
