Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Enterprise Architect with Salesforce expertise to lead the strategic design and implementation of Salesforce solutions across the organization. This role will be responsible for developing enterprise-wide architecture frameworks, integrating Salesforce with core business applications, and ensuring alignment with business objectives and IT strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Enterprise Architecture & Strategy
- Define and drive the Salesforce enterprise architecture roadmap, ensuring alignment with business and IT strategies.
- Develop best practices, governance models, and security standards for Salesforce implementations.
- Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance for Salesforce adoption, integrations, and enhancements.
- Collaborate with C-level executives, business leaders, and IT teams to translate business needs into scalable Salesforce solutions.
- Assess new Salesforce capabilities, trends, and emerging technologies to drive innovation and digital transformation.
Solution Design & Integration
- Design and oversee multi-cloud Salesforce architectures (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Experience Cloud, Commerce Cloud).
- Ensure seamless integration of Salesforce with enterprise systems (ERP, data lakes, third-party applications) using APIs, middleware, and ETL tools.
- Lead data migration and modernization strategies, ensuring a robust and scalable data model within Salesforce.
- Define and enforce best practices for Salesforce development, customization, and automation (Flows, Apex, LWC, and Visualforce).
Governance, Security & Compliance
- Establish data governance models, ensuring compliance with GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, and other regulations.
- Implement role-based access control (RBAC), identity management (SSO, OAuth), and security frameworks within Salesforce.
- Oversee Salesforce DevOps processes using tools like Gearset, Copado, Jenkins, and Git for CI/CD pipelines.
Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Act as a trusted advisor to executives and business leaders, providing recommendations on Salesforce strategies.
- Work closely with Salesforce administrators, developers, and business analysts to deliver scalable solutions.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration between sales, marketing, IT, and customer support teams to maximize Salesforce ROI.
- Mentor and guide junior architects, developers, and administrators
Qualifications
Technical Skills
- 10+ years of experience in IT architecture, with at least 5+ years in Salesforce architecture and strategy.
- Deep expertise in Salesforce multi-cloud solutions (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Public Sector Solutions, Experience Cloud, Commerce Cloud).
- Expertise in Salesforce Public Sector Solutions (PSS), Government Cloud, and Experience Cloud (good to have).
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce data modeling, Lightning components, Apex, Visualforce, and Flows.
- Experience with Salesforce integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, Mulesoft, ETL tools, and middleware platforms.
- Proficiency in enterprise integration patterns, microservices architecture, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment best practices.
Enterprise Architecture & Strategy
- Strong understanding of enterprise IT landscapes, digital transformation, and cloud adoption strategies.
- Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman, or Gartner EA.
- Ability to define and enforce governance models, compliance frameworks, and security policies.
Soft Skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive enterprise-wide initiatives.
Preferred Certifications:
- Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) (highly preferred)
